Greed Drowned Their Home

Ethan Grant built a flood levee for his village using two million of his own funds. Village couple Darla Trent and Earl Parker tried to extort money by lying in front of trucks to stop the levee from being closed. Enraged, Ethan altered the levee’s path to go behind their house, cutting their property outside the flood barrier. When flash floods hit, the entire village remained protected by the levee, while Darla and Earl’s house was destroyed by the flood.
